Rick Bishop, CPA
Rick is the founding partner. After working at a large local firm in Towson, he started the firm in 1991. Rick knew he possessed the technical skills, commitment to service, and personality to make it in the accounting profession. Rick specializes in tax planning and preparation, business consulting, business sales and acquisitions, cash flow management, and financial statements. He also works with estates and trusts. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Maryland Society of Accountants. A Bel Air native, Rick has been a CPA since 1987.
Rob Adkins, CPA
Rob joined the firm in 1995 after working at a large national accounting firm in Baltimore and became a partner in 1998. With over 20 years in the profession, Rob specializes in accounting and assurance services, tax research, accounting software installation and usage, tax planning and preparation, real estate, construction, and non-profits. Rob also heads up the IT department and often provides IT consulting to our clients. Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Maryland Society of Accountants. A native of Harford County, he has been a CPA since 1992.
Donna Singer, CPA/PFS
Donna joined the Bishop & Adkins team in January 2008. Donna specializes in providing tax planning and compliance services for businesses and their owners as well as individuals. Additionally, Donna has worked with high net worth individuals, addressing the unique tax situations they may encounter. She has over 34 years experience working with C and S corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, sole proprietors, estates and trusts, and non-profits. Donna is a Maryland native who has lived in Harford County since 1987. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Society of Accountants.
Jacque Clarke, CPA
After working for other local firms, Jacque joined Bishop & Adkins in the fall of 2012. She has experience with individual and business tax preparation, as well as write-up work. A CPA since 2007, Jacque understands the daily demands on clients’ time and she works diligently using her knowledge and skills to provide a high quality service, enabling clients to spend more time managing their businesses. Jacque has lived in Harford County since 1991, having moved here from Colorado. She is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Society of Accountants.
Cathy Davis, CPA
Cathy's expertise is in payroll and accounting software. She works closely with many clients to fill a variety of needs ranging from after-the-fact payroll to tax return and financial statement preparation. Cathy is a member of the Maryland Society of Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. She has been a CPA since 1996.
Valerie Snyder, CPA
Valerie joined Bishop & Adkins in the fall of 2014. Valerie moved to Maryland from North Carolina where she had worked in public accounting for over ten years. She has experience in business and personal income tax preparation, audit and write up work. She has been a CPA since 2009. She is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and Maryland Society of Accountants.
Monica Stephens, CPA
Monica joined the firm in 2014, after the retirement of her former employer, to assist clients in their transition to Bishop & Adkins. She has worked in public accounting for more than 20 years and is experienced in business and personal tax preparation, financial statement preparation, and accounting software usage. Monica moved to Harford County in 2011 from California, has been a CPA since 1987, and is a member of the Maryland Society of Accountants.
Cathy Feeheley, EA
Cathy joined the firm in 2004 after working in an Annapolis firm for 10 years. She has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting field. Her background covers accounting and assurance services, business and personal tax preparation, accounting software usage and financial statement preparation. Cathy has been a member of the Maryland Society of Accountants since 1995 and earned the Enrolled Agent designation from the Internal Revenue Service in 2013, allowing her to represent clients before the IRS.
Gina Blair, Office Manager
Gina has joined Bishop and Adkins at the end of 2016. She brings with her many years of office management experience and she also has an accounting background. Gina is the person responsible for a majority of the administrative functions of the firm.
Linda Grinath, Retired
Linda was the first person to join Rick back in 1992. She has been working with many of our clients since the inception of the firm. Over the years Linda has developed many close relationships with our clients. Linda has retired in 2016 as Office Manager but will continue to help with office functions as needed.
