About Rick

Rick is the founding partner.  After working at a large local firm in Towson, he started the firm that became Bishop & Adkins, P.A. in 1991.  Rick knew he possessed the technical skills, commitment to service, and personality to operate a CPA firm.

Rick specializes in tax planning and preparation, business consulting, business sales and acquisitions, cash flow management, business start ups, and financial statements.  He also works with estates and trusts.

Rick is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Maryland Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals.  A Bel Air native, Rick has been a CPA since 1987.
